 Teresa McConnell received her massage therapy certification in 1994 in Denver Colorado at the Cottonwood School of Massage Therapy. She continued her massage studies through the Upledger Institute in St. John Neuromuscular Techniques. She is also trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Lymphatic Core Massage. Teresa pursued holistic health studies after working as a debt counselor and in cash management in the banking industry. “Being a health coach is definitely my calling. I love helping others design & achieve their health goals using holistic therapies.”
After moving to Arizona in 1995, she learned more about detoxification therapies such as constitutional hydrotherapy, sauna, fasting, and colon hydrotherapy. She received her certification as an instructor in Colon Hydrotherapy in 1998 and taught colonics to medical students at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe. Other areas of study have included homeopathy, Amazon Rainforest botanicals, nutrition for degenerative diseases and Edgar Cayce therapies along with mind-body approaches for healing.

Dr. McConnell and Teresa were the owners of a naturopathic clinic in Green Valley Arizona. They sold their practice when Dr. Bryan returned to school for his Osteopathic degree. In 2007 the McConnell’s have opened their second naturopathic clinic, Anti-Aging Therapies of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona. The McConnell's are holistic practitioners who have a strong focus in cellular detoxification, known as tissue cleansing, nutrition and exercise as the foundation for building healthy bodies and minds.
Green business is the wave of the future and being a part of the Amazon Herb Company, AHC, a 20 year old eco-conscious business is one way we contribute to being a part of a solution to saving the Amazon Rainforest. AHC contributes over 10% of net profits to stopping the destruction of the rainforest, puts monies into the hands of the indigenious people who are now able to get the deeds of the rainforest land, provides jobs by harvesting the herbs and artwork. AHC is in partnership with ACEER, Amazon Children's Environmental Education & Research, a non-profit agency which teaches the importance of the Amazon preservation which are the lungs of the world,
They have one daughter, Lori, in Missoula, Montana, two sons, Dennis of Littleton, Colorado and Erick, of Grand Island Nebraska. They have 9 grandchildren. Future plans for the McConnell’s after graduation include a family practice in Integrated Family Medicine and fulfilling a life time dream of owning an in-house fasting clinic.
